Living in Europe, we're not used to celebrating Thanksgiving, and reading this makes me excited about Christmas already. Well... we should throw a dinner party or two in the coming weeks.
Love New Zealand. Stopped there for an hour or so on my way to Melbourne. I could not take my eyes off the beauty in Auckland. My traveling companion had to peel my face from glass to board our final leg of the trip. I never got to make that trip again.
I won't be with family for the holiday, so am going to a celebration for 'orphans and strays', folks like me who'll have a chance to be in a community of thanks. I'll save these recipes for next year.
We all love to eat, even if the real thanksgiving was in Canada weeks ago ;) ;)
If you're looking to listen to something for the long weekend, I've got a short trail running podcast you should check out! It's around 20 minutes, so you're not too committed, and my guests are fantastic and carry the show. Check it out!
If you are providing a menu for vegetarians, what about providing one for carnivores? Note this is very different from “omnivores”: we don’t eat plants.
These dishes look absolutely fabulous. I sent this to a friend of mine who adores cooking. She's hosting a Thanksgiving feast with a few close friends; so....

Bravo - love this.
Can't wait!
Some divine-looking recipes here to suit this omnivorous gluten-free eater, and making maximum use of northern hemisphere seasonal produce too.
