The Friendship Problem was so good! I especially loved this line: “We are so burned out by the process of staying afloat in a globalized, connected world that we simply don’t have the energy for the kinds of in-person, easy interactions that might actually give us some energy and lifeforce back”. ✨
Checkout @loveyourscars... the seen and unseen... how one yoga instructor, writer is on a mission to start a movement for all who bear scars to find connection through yoga and community by sharing our stories.
I wonder if Substack users are less active in the weekends? What is your feedback on newsletter if published in the weekend? Does your open rate falls down or is it the same/more? 🤨
Thank you for featuring The Career Whispers in Substack Reads this week! Excited to see so many new readers discovering the TCW newsletter as they think about what they want their careers to look like in 2024.
Take a look at Debby Waldman’s memoir which is coming soon to substack. I read her feature article in the NYT on her son’s struggle with depression and her articles in Kaiser Health News. She is a beautiful writer and well worth your attention.

How about a Substack Pods feature as well?
I’m looking for interesting podcasts, not famous people, not journalists, just interesting people talking about interesting topics?
I have one out today!
Me too. I’ll check yours out
Do you plan to have the same quality of curation in other languages, for example in French?
I feel there is a lack of engagement in France and in the French language more broadly.
It might be complicated to have someone internally manage this in all languages.
But perhaps local creators could do it?
Or a group of writers may be.
We have a particularity in France: most of us prefer to read in French.
For example :
- Highlighting local creators
- Having default language notes (which we could choose in the settings)
- Recommendations
- Meetups in France (there are meetups everywhere except France…)
Do you see what I mean?
It's a bit quiet for us over here...

55000 Christians have been killed by Muslims In Nigeria since 2009. The UN does not care. BBC,AP,CNN,NBC,MIT,
Harvard and U Penn.do not care.
NFL NBA and MLB do not care.
I need every single black mother in this country to know that Muslims will kill them, their sons and rape their daughters.
