Is it just me or these are some very boring breads ? I wonder who selects them at Substack. I am sure that there are far more interesting writers on Substack.

If you found these boring, then perhaps you will enjoy this one and change your life and make millions in passive income the rest of your life

I believe that "boring" and "interesting" are subjective. For example, the global empire of Roblox is interesting to me because I've seen personally how people are influenced by the game. You might find it boring if you don't know much about it. I think the writers of Substack Reads try their best to have something for everyone.

Not really, Substack team always pick reads from their golden goose and keep pushing them. If you monitor carefully, you will see this trend of Substack just focusing on their top 1% writers and keep pushing their content. Out of them, they will throw 1 or 2 random writers to show that they support others. I will keep calling out Substack until their change this practice.

While it's fair that you're not satisfied with Substack Reads, I'm not sure if it's reasonable to expect them to look for lesser-known writers every week, and saying that they're just throwing in "1 or 2 random writers" could be backed up by more evidence. Just because some people find these writers' content to be "random" doesn't mean that everyone does. The writers that are featured in Substack Reads were chosen because the team finds their work to have value. My advice is, if you want to be featured in Substack Reads, work harder until you're discovered.

They may not be as crunchy and chewy as a fresh ciabatta, but I wouldn't consider these breads boring. Brioche - now that's a boring bread.

There need to be more discussions on interesting VS boring breads here on Substack. Thanks for kicking it off.

Great story in Roblox studio. Funny, I showed my niece how to program a web page, then she showed me Roblox studio, which I had never seen. No wonder she wasn't impressed with my silly web page!

Great story. It’s also now so readily apparent that Zuckerberg is chasing Roblox.

I love Jeff Pearlman's writing....somehow, in the midst of writing great books like his recent one on Bo Jackson, he finds time to create in-depth pieces on the myriad aspects of journalism.
