I really thought Iād like this because I left Twitter post-Musk last year and didnāt like how it left me feeling mentally. But there were some aspects of it Iāve missed and so I thought this might fill that niche as I find Substack a lot healthier. However, after the initial excitement wore off, I noticed that Notes was doing to me exactly what Twitter, Instagram, etc did which was feed my anxieties and jealousies and suck me into short hits of dope that Iām trying to get away from. Essentially, itās feeding my mental illnesses just like regular social media and so it unfortunately isnāt for me, even though I see the use. Maybe when Iām in a better space Iāll try Notes again.

I'm interested in seeing how people use Notes (including myself!) I've tried out the restacking facility and love it. It's great for taking a comment and using it to start a completely new discussion.
If Substack Notes can become twitter but with writers instead of drama, Iām here for it!
