With the new Substack app, we’re giving readers a beautiful, focused place to read your favorite writers. The app incorporates text, audio, video, and community for the best reading experience on the internet. Readers can read all of their Substack subscriptions in one place, and it’s easier than ever to find and fall in love with new writers.

Here’s how to start discovering great writing on the app:

1. Browse. Visit the Discover tab to see featured publications and scroll through Substack leaderboards by category. Connect your Twitter account to see which Substacks are read by people you follow on Twitter.

2. Search. Discover new Substacks based on search keywords by using the search bar, also accessible via the Discover tab.

3. View profiles. Tap into reader profiles from comments and author bios to check out the Substacks your favorite writers and readers are subscribed to.

4. Watch this space. We’ll be using this new publication, Substack Reads, as an ongoing guide to the great writing happening on Substack, helping readers discover what to read on Substack via writer-curated recommendations and reader picks. Stay tuned!
